It’s expected to be a busy weekend for Butler County.
Locally the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival returns starting tomorrow along with Parts-A-Rama, which begins today.
Add in the U.S. Open at Oakmont, and Butler County is going to be buzzing over the next couple of days according to Amy Pack of Experience Butler County.
“There’s quite a business mix happening during the key points of the U.S. Open and other marquee events,” Pack said. “It’s a high demand time for us in general, so we do expect very much a boost for this time period.”
Pack says that many hotels in the area are booked between Jeep and U.S. Open guests. She also expects the restaurant industry and other tourism spots to flourish this weekend.
Pack says the overall economic impact won’t be known until after the eventful weekend, but early indicators show a very promising result.
