Two recent Butler High School graduates are the recipients of a prestigious local scholarship.
The Rosanne and Jane Cavalero Scholarships are distributed through the Pittsburgh Foundation for a male and female Butler High School graduating senior with the highest-grade point average who pursue post-secondary education.
Evelyn Paserba and Alec Teff will each receive nearly $7,000 in scholarship funding.
Paserba will be going to Penn State to major in Biomedical Engineering while Teff will go to Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
