A free event that provides safety information for kids who love to ride bikes in Butler Township has been postponed.
A Bike Rodeo scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Butler Township Municipal Building will now take place next Saturday at the same time due to anticipated rain in the forecast.
Local first responders will be on hand to provide bike safety checks and helmet fittings as well as information about hand signals and street signs. New helmets will be available if needed. Kids can then enjoy a bike ride with the first responders.
The City of Butler Bureau of Fire will have a fire truck and crew will be there along with Kona Ice providing cool treats.
