Health officials in Erie say the county has an outbreak of measles.
Two more cases of measles were confirmed on Monday, bringing the total number of cases to five in recent weeks.
Officials say the newest cases are a result of “direct exposures” from a person who tested positive for measles. Since the last three cases have been classified that way, the health department has listed it as an outbreak.
However, health leaders say the risk of community spread remains low.
