Saturday is National Drug Take Back Day and two local townships will be participating.
Butler Township is hosting their event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart inside the Butler Commons.
Cranberry Township will also be participating from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the rear parking lot of the Municipal Center on Rochester Road.
They will be accepting medications, vape pens, e-cigarettes, liquid drug products and other various prescription medicines.
Last fall, Americans turned in nearly 883,000 pounds of prescriptions drugs.
