A food distribution is planned for this weekend in neighboring Lawrence County.
The event will take place Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. at The Towne Mall Cascade Galleria Plaza in New Castle.
Volunteers will load boxes of fresh milk provided by Marburger Dairy, as well as frozen meat, eggs, a variety of fresh produce and nutritious shelf-stable groceries into the vehicles of families in need.
There is a limit of two families per car and the distribution will continue as long as supplies are available.
