There were no surprises in the unofficial results of yesterday’s primary election for two seats as Butler Township Commissioner.
Preliminary returns have incumbents Sam Zurzolo and Ed Natali with enough votes to appear on the fall ballot defeating challengers Darrell Pacoe and George Shockey.
The combined vote totals of the two challengers nearly equaled the number of votes received by Natali with Zurzolo about 200 behind his fellow Commissioner.
Democrat Jeffrey Pakutz will also appear as an option on the ballot this fall after gathering over 1,000 votes in the primary.
