A home was significantly damaged in a fire in Allegheny Township yesterday.
Crews were called to the home in the 900 block of Maple Furnace Road around 4:30 p.m. When emergency crews arrived, they saw flames and heavy smoke coming from the roof of the house.
Firefighters quickly attacked the flames and were able to get it knocked down by 5:15 p.m.
No one was home when the fire broke out
The home was significantly damaged in the blaze. There was no word on what caused the fire.
