Local business and community leaders gathered recently in Harmony to celebrate the tourism industry in Butler County.
The annual “Toast to Tourism” dinner by Experience Butler County was hosted last week at the White Barn in Prospect.
15 different grants totaling nearly $50,000 were awarded from the organization’s foundation.
Brothers Todd and Keith Wehr, operators of Bear Run Campground, were named as 2025 Tourism Ambassadors of the Year. Dennis Quigley received the Destination Development Award, recognizing his work advocating for Butler County campgrounds.
The Toast to Tourism dinner is held each year during National Travel and Tourism Week.
