A Butler man is facing charges after his children were taken to the hospital for alleged child abuse.
On May 23, Butler City Police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital for children who were allegedly beaten by their father with a wire or rod.
A 10-year-old child told investigators their father, 39-year-old Albert Morrow, became angry at the kids and began to beat them. The children were bruised in the incident.
Police say the mother stopped the beating.
Morrow has been charged with endangering the welfare of children, as a parent or guardian, simple assault, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail, a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 16.
