The public is invited to Moraine State Park this weekend to learn about the differences between frogs, toads, turtles and snakes.
A local park naturalist will present a program titled “Introduction to Reptiles and Amphibians” on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. in Pavilion 6 at McDanels Launch Area on the North Shore.
Those attending will have the chance to see and touch models and shells, as well as go on a hike of about one mile to identify live specimens in their habitat.
This event is for ages 7 and older with children to be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call Moraine State Park.
