Jackson Guitars has released the Pro Series Signature Wes Borland King V in collaboration with Limp Bizkit’s guitarist, marking his first-ever signature model. The guitar features Seymour Duncan Invader SH8 pickups for high-output sound and a recessed Floyd Rose 1500 Series Bridge for extreme tremolo use. Borland emphasized simplicity in his design philosophy, stating “you just need volume, pickups, locking tremolo system and 24 frets.” The instrument includes an upside-down headstock logo, which originated from Borland modifying a left-handed King V for right-hand playing. Jackson’s Peter Wichers called the accidental detail “one of the most iconic” features of the build. The guitar uses neck-through construction with graphite reinforcement for durability during live performances. Story URL

Paul McCartney revealed that he possesses an unreleased Prince recording of “The Long and Winding Road” and wants the late musician’s estate to authorize its release. Last month, they released “With This Tear” from a previously unreleased album project, with more vault material expected later this year. Story URL
A false Facebook page claiming Barry Gibb died received nearly one million likes over the weekend, but the 79-year-old Bee Gees singer is alive and well. The “R.I.P. Barry Gibb” page featured fabricated death announcements before being removed Tuesday. Multiple posts with AI-generated images showing Gibb in hospital beds and coffins circulated on the platform, some dating back 48 weeks. Gibb’s family confirmed he remains “healthy, happy, and living life at his Miami-area home.” Celebrity death hoaxes frequently target famous figures on social media. Gibb is the last surviving member of the Bee Gees, formed with brothers Maurice and Robin, who died in 2003 and 2012 respectively. The group created disco classics like “Night Fever” and “You Should Be Dancing” during their career spanning the 1960s onward. Story URL
