Iron Maiden is marking two major milestones with a pair of special vinyl releases. The band’s sixth album, Somewhere In Time, turns 40 this year and will be reissued on limited edition Oxblood colored vinyl, featuring 2015 remastered audio. An Amazon exclusive variant includes a full sleeve poster. Additionally, celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary since formation, a vinyl box set titled 50th Anniversary Studio Album Collection, Part One: 1980–1992 arrives in December. The nine-album collection features colored vinyl pressings and comes in a specially designed box with an anniversary poster, available exclusively through Amazon outside the USA. Noel Gallagher has fueled speculation that Oasis will tour again in 2027. During an appearance on talkSPORT’s Drive, Gallagher joked about brother Liam’s social media absence, saying, “Well, then there must be something happening.” He added, “There’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?” Reports suggest the band may return to Knebworth, where they famously performed to 250,000 fans across two nights in 1996. After wrapping London shows during their 2025 reunion tour, Gallagher told the crowd, “See you next year!” Meanwhile, Oasis will release a new IMAX documentary, Don’t Look Back in Anger, on September 11th, created by Peaky Blinders‘ Steven Knight, before arriving on Hulu and Disney+. Dolly Parton deliberately kept her cancer diagnosis private, even from close family members, according to her first cousin Richie Owens. “She always kept things private because she always wanted to keep everybody being positive around her,” Owens told Today. “Just, ‘Don’t worry about me, I’m going to be fine.'” Owens, who co-wrote songs with Parton and produced two of her albums, said her burial beside late husband Carl Dean on August 28th was intentionally small and quiet. Parton also requested mourners skip flowers and instead donate to her Imagination Library charity. Jailed music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has a new, earlier release date from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. According to the Bureau of Prisons’ inmate finder, Combs — listed as inmate 37452-054 — is now scheduled for release on February 5, 2028. TMZ had previously reported his release date as February 23, 2028, which itself had shifted from January 24, 2028. The 56-year-old was sentenced to over four years in October after being convicted of transporting escorts across the U.S. for sexual performances he called “freak-offs.” He was acquitted of sex trafficking and RICO charges by a Manhattan jury in July 2025.
