The state is unveiling a new initiative that will allow PA CareerLink locations to offer on-the-spot birth certificates.
Department of Labor officials say this program is to help those looking for work, but need a state-issued birth certificate immediately.
There are still options to access birth certificates online, through the mail, or at a Vital Records public office.
