The Pennsylvania Game commission is still accepting artwork for the 2026 Working Together for Wildlife Art Contest.
The featured species is the barn owl. Sizes for the painting must be 22 ½ by 15 inches horizontal or 15 by 22 ½ vertically and must include a 3-inch-wide white boarder or mat.
Submissions must be sent to the Game Commission by email by 4 p.m. tomorrow (5/2). Every entry is $50 but those under 19 can enter for free. Artwork must unsigned and unframed.
The winning artwork as determined by a committee of qualified Game Commission personnel will win $5,000 and 50 artist proof prints. The winner will also have to sign 750 limited edition fine art prints of the art work. But, those who don’t come in first will still be able to win, second-place painting will receive $1,500; third place, $1,000; fourth place, $800; and fifth place, $500.
