Pennsylvania Turnpike officials are reminding drivers of the importance of moving over during an emergency response.
Originally known as the Steer Clear law, it’s now called the Move Over Law and it mandates drivers go into an adjacent lane or slow down when driving by an emergency response.
Numerous events were held across the state on Saturday making drivers aware of the law.
Violating the law can result in a fine up to $2,000 and license suspension.
