
One person was flown to a Pittsburgh area medical facility Monday afternoon after being hit by a bicycle in the city of Butler.
The incident happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. between North and West Locust Streets near the intersection with North Main Street.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, they found the pedestrian had sustained “traumatic arrest”.
A medical helicopter was called to land at Butler Memorial Hospital and transport the individual for additional treatment.
Crews cleared the scene after about 20 minutes.
