Strong storms are coming into Butler County later this afternoon and evening that could see severe conditions.
The National Weather Service says the main concern is damaging wind, but also the area is under a threat of large hail and an isolated chance of a tornado.
“It’s just good to keep aware of what’s going to happen so you have a plan in place if you see a severe thunderstorm warning,” National Weather Service Bill Modzelewski said.
The storms comes with a cold front that will knock overnight lows to 44 degrees.
Modzelewski said there was a less than five percent chance of a tornado but to be on the lookout for possible conditions to develop.
