The Slippery Rock Area School Board approved heating and air conditioning work at the middle school earlier this week.
At their Monday night meeting, board members approved an agreement with two companies Havtech Solutions for just over $69,000 and Combustion Service and Equipment Company for just under $15,000.
Work for the project at Slippery Rock Area Middle School is for the roof and exterior chiller. A timeline has not been set but work is not expected to interfere with the school day.
