Slippery Rock University students now have access to a full turf intramural field.
University officials announced the new McFarland Recreational Sports Complex is now complete.
The soccer and football fields transitioned from grass to artificial turf in order to allow for greater use for students and the community.
The Slippery Rock Student Government helped fund the project, which cost an estimated $2.5 million.
