As motorcyclist begin to rev those engines PennDOT is reminding all riders of free safety training.
Free motorcycle safety training has been available through PennDOT’s Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program for 40 years.
Last year there were over 3,200 crashes involving motorcycles and 219 deaths. These courses can range from basic rider safety to an advanced rider course. Completion of a basic or intermediate course wavives the requirement to take a skills test at the PennDOT Driver License Center.
