With summer officially underway, kids are invited to take advantage of ongoing summer camps from Slippery Rock University.
The next in a series of three-day camps begin Monday at the Macoskey Center for Sustainability Education and Research.
Kids ages 4 and 5 can attend from 8:30 a.m. until noon while kids 6 to 9 stay until 3:30 p.m. Themes include a summer safari, solar power, and cooking with two of the camps planned for July.
Cost for camps is based on a family’s household income with daily fees as low as $50. Registration and full descriptions are available on the SRU website.
