Butler Township Police have charged the manager of a fast food restaurant for stealing from the company.
Police say the incident happened on May 23rd when 38-year-old James Payno of Butler allegedly stole $1,500 from the safe at the Taco Bell at the Greater Butler Mart.
According to charging documents, Payno was caught on camera stealing the money and has returned the $1,500.
He has been charged with theft by unlawfully taking but Taco Bell is not seeking restitution in the case.
Payno is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
