The Butler Transit Authority is reopening their downtown Butler terminal next month.
After closing in March of 2020 as a result of the pandemic, the downtown Butler terminal is reopening first to seniors so that they can renew their unlimited free fare ticketing cards.
The terminal will then reopen for full service for passengers and staff on Monday, June 6th including waiting chairs and restrooms.
The Transit Authority also approved a policy change that will allow riders on the commuter service to Pittsburgh to bring non-motorized bicycles in the bus luggage compartments as long as they load and unload the bikes themselves.
