Two men have been placed in the Butler County Prison after being accused of stealing a gun and vehicle in Slippery Rock.
The incident happened on Sunday around 2 a.m. on the 100 block of Vineyard Circle.
According to charging documents, the victim was attacked by 18-year-old Arshad Bryant of Pittsburgh and 18-year-old Quincy Hopkins of Sewickley. During the attack its alleged Bryant stole a gun from the victim, and then stole a vehicle.
Police received a call that the vehicle had returned to the scene and a stop was conducted on Kiester Road. Inside the vehicle were two guns, the stolen gun from the victim and a gun Hopkins was in illegal possession of.
Bryant is facing several charges including robbery, firearms not to be carried, and theft by unlawful taking. His bail was set at $200,000.
Hopkins has been charged with firearms not to be carried and receiving stolen property.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 9.
