Slippery Rock University could see a new degree program added to the options students have after a vote that took place earlier this week.
As part of a special virtual meeting, the SRU Council of Trustees voted to move forward with requesting final approval for a Bachelor of Applied Science in construction management degree program.
The Office of the Chancellor in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education needs to approve the program but once that is completed, student enrollment could begin as soon as this December.
SRU Trustees also approved a revised Enrollment Management Orientation Fee of $200 with a limit of two guests, whereas the previous Orientation Fee was $90, not including a charge of $15 per guest at orientation.
