The state budget deadline came and went without a deal.
It marks the fifth straight year the Commonwealth has missed the June 30th deadline.
Republican leaders in the Senate sent lawmakers home yesterday, saying this week’s talks have given them “necessary clarity on many outstanding issues.”
Republicans were optimistic about a deal happening soon; however House Democrats were skeptical saying in a statement “The Senate Republican majority is failing again.”
