On Wednesday, Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding announced millions are available for farms impacted by freezing earlier this year.
The Freeze Disaster Assistance Recovery Grant Program in the 2026-27 state budget provides $10 million in grants to farmers who suffered from a late April freeze this year.
Farmers impacted by the freeze are asked to keep documents and keep reporting the impact of the freeze to their local USDA Farm Service Agency.
