Two recent Butler High School graduates are the recipients of a prestigious local scholarship.
The Rosanne and Jane Cavalero Scholarships are distributed through the Pittsburgh Foundation for a male and female Butler High School graduating senior with the highest-grade point average who pursue post-secondary education.
Emily Cornish and Maxwell Davis will each receive nearly $7,000 in scholarship funding.
Cornish will be going to Carnegie Mellon to major in Biological Sciences while Davis will go to Penn State majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
