A longtime community volunteer that was very active in Butler sports has died.
Jack Baccanti passed away at his home on Sunday.
Baccanti was a front office member at Armco Steel for 22 years, but was also known for his involvement in the community.
He formed the Bon Aire Girls’ Softball League and was an active member of the Butler Basketball Boosters Club.
Baccanti was 89.
