Bruce Springsteen’s May 8th Philadelphia concert has been rescheduled to May 30th due to playoff conflicts. The Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers both advanced to their respective second rounds Saturday, forcing the venue change. Xfinity Mobile Arena is now needed for the Sixers’ Game 3 against the New York Knicks. The Flyers’ Stanley Cup playoff schedule and Springsteen’s tour itinerary complicated rescheduling efforts. “All tickets for the previous date will remain valid for the new date,” Springsteen’s official site announced Sunday. The postponed show will now serve as the final performance of his Land of Hope and Dreams Tour, occurring after the previously scheduled May 27th closing show in Washington. (Story URL)
The Rolling Stones appear to have confirmed their upcoming album title and artwork through coordinated Instagram posts. Jagger previously told the New York Times they were “three-quarters through the next one” while promoting their last album. Another recent report suggests they already have ten songs prepared for another future album. Story URL
Brady Ebert, former Turnstile guitarist, now faces life in prison after charges were upgraded to first-degree attempted murder.
